Life Lesson
I'm learning to always be polite where ever I am
And I'm learning to say, "Thank you," whenever somebody hands me something like some ham
And I'm learning not to throw a fit
Not to complain when I see it's going to pour buckets of rain
And I'm learning not to chew with my mouth open
And I'm learning not to take the last piece without asking
And I'm learning (though it sometimes really hurts me)
Not to beat my brother with a stick when my ears are bursting in flames
And I'm learning to be happy
When I'm actually kind of sappy
And I'm leaning that it's much
Much easier to be myself
